October Wantable subscription box!

I have posted previously about how much I loved my August and September Wantable boxes here, and I am happy to say that October is another winner! Wantable is fast becoming my favourite beauty box. Being from the USA it costs me around $40 per month, but you can skip a month or two whenever you want, so you can just get a quarterly box if you like.

This month I received five full sized products: liquid eyeliner, tinted brow gel, and a kabuki brush, all from the brand Cailyn, a Besame lipstick, and a Bombshell blush. I also received a sample sachet of moisturiser from Skiinshop.

The liquid eyeliner and brow gel are both in dark brown shades. The eyeliner has a pointed sponge type pencil tip, and the colour is dark chocolate with a very slight hint of shimmer. It applied very smoothly and it LASTS! The brow gel has more of a wax texture, very dense and pigmented, in a nice deep brown with no reddish tint, perfect for my colouring. It comes with a flat angled brush inside the lid, similar to gel eyeliners where you pull the brush out, reverse it and click back into the lid to use as an easy-to-hold handle.

Excuse the cat scratches in the swatch pic, kittens are growing up and getting feisty!

The blush is just gorgeous! It's a very pretty peachy coral shade, quite pale which is good because so am I! It has a lovely sheen to it and applies very smoothly, it is very pigmented so I need to be careful to apply lightly - the swatch on my arm below is one swipe with the pink kabuki brush.

The kabuki brush is adorable and well made and PINK yay! Not much else to say except it's fun and cute and useful :)

The Besame lipstick is probably my favourite product, I fell in love with the last one I received, a deep vampy red. This time I changed my preference survey to pinks and brights, and said I "dislike"red so I wouldn't get another red lipstick. The survey worked and I received the perfect candy pink - similar to MAC's Candy Yum Yum, but a smidge darker, and the Besame has gorgeous retro packaging and the formula is so creamy.

Here's a late night pic of me having a play with a few of the products in the dim yellow light of the kitchen! No mascara on, eep! I am wearing the eyeliner, blush and lipstick and looking pretty damn happy about the whole thing, lol.

And just one more feature of Wantable? It comes with a free cat magnet i.e. A cardboard box...

Which our little foster girl Esmerelda immediately claimed as her own...

Fighting off anyone (especially her brother, Boss) who tried to share it with her!

Wantable boxes are a monthly subscription beauty box with a focus on cosmetics rather than skincare, available from www.wantable.com. What do you think, are you tempted?

    1. That's what I love about Wantable, you can pick and choose when you receive a box, it's much easier to pause or unsubscribe than it is with Australian boxes. I have often been stuck paying for the next month's box because I didn't unsubscribe 15 or even 30 days prior!

    1. She does look like a Gremlin, lol, she's super smoochy and super chatty too, she squawks all day, as soon as she hears someone coming she starts up! Her brother is much quieter and very cuddly, he doesn't get all up in my face like she does, he just likes to be on my lap or nestled into my shoulder. They're both going to make wonderful companion cats :)

    1. It's a great box, I've been thrilled with everything so far, it's a bit of a leap of faith at $40 or $45 per month though. If you do decide to subscribe you can look at the website's home page, they usually have a little blog about what brands to expect this month etc, and you can tailor your survey responses according to what you'd most like to receive :) Oh and if you click on my Instagram feed over on the right of the blog you can see plenty of kitten photos and videos, my IG name is also hissycatkrissy :)

    1. Everyone wins! I learned long ago not to spend too much money on cat toys, they will ignore them and play with a crumbled up piece of paper or a cardboard box!
